I am donating $20.

You guys spend thousands a year on your car, comeon and help out the .org. The .org is better than any FSM or any carfax subscription. Everyone OWES the .org for something, i think it is time to pay up. Lets get them better servers!

if we get 30 (or more) people to give $20, well, you do the math...

5 people for a motherboard, 8 people for processers, 10 people for ram, 15 people for hard drives.

You can also donate to the .orgy by buying merchandise as well. All proceeds from merchandise purchase go towards keeping the site running. I'm waiting for some last items to become available and then I'm gonna order about $100 worth of stuff all at once.


Once the server upgrade takes place (before the end of this month I think??) things will get better, but this is just temporary to keep the server's head above water. Server and hosting is already picked out ($1400 setup, $199/mo for one year), so just donations are needed. LOTS of them.

I will donate as soon as I get some cash... but Nissan should give you guys a little something for keeping interest in their flagship car. Corporate bastards.

 

Haha that is an interesting thought!! I wonder what would happen if we were to ask donations from Nissan. I think they'd give it to us...

but then again we'd look like beggars if we go asking them? I dunno, but it's a good idea.

The moderators might want to start a list of people who donated, or come up with an 'optional' subscribership that would give them a special little banner or title by their name on their posts.

It might motivate people to become part of the 'org'... Others could they were donating members, and it might get others to want the same 'status'.

It would be nice to get 'props' for being a contributer.
