? about TRUE cornering lights for 97-99
Hey all.
I now have a 99SE that does not, of course, have the cornering lights I came to love on my old 95. Despite my electrical adeptness, I was unable to build a working RC circuit to accomplish this function. I just took a look at the Haynes manual- please tell me if you think the following is possible:
Tap directly into the appropriate leads in the turn signal stalk and run wires straight to relays that power the 27W filament in each cornering lamp. According to Haynes, the 97-99 pinout looks like this:

So if I just run wires from 1 and 2 to the right relay and 1 and 3 to the left, and power the relays, shouldn't that work?
Am I being too vague? It is 3:30am...

The 97 - 99 wiring harness doesn't have two power leads to the corner socket to light up the 27W element. The socket might have the contacts, but you'll need to run wires into it to make it work.

Forgot to mention.. I've already done all that. The only thing left now is to find an appropriate way to switch the relay.
So this should work? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I just wanted to make sure before I started poking wires through the firewall and taking the dash apart.
