Installed RVM pulley today, question
I finally got my RVM racing pulley installed today at Sonic Boom Motorsports. The install was quick, like 45 minutes and cost $75. Not bad considering he originally quoted me $85 and a hour and a half labor. I used Gates belts K060410 and K040300; they are listed as alternate belts on the RVM installation steps. I also got a new front oil crank seal for $8 from the dealership while I was at it. I don't know if I noticed anything yet in terms of performance gain while going WOT. The RVM installation steps say performance increase in 3-9 days.
However, I read Cheston's install at maximadrivre.com, and his was immediate, 75%. However, later on today, I think I noticed some improvement in acceleration. My question: Should I reset the ECU to help it learn faster?
