fstb question

I know this has been discussed to death but no search function but is there a difference between the various fstb's available for a 97 Maxima. I'm thinking of the Streetbeat Customs cause it would come to $45 with shipping. I checked the FAQ's and didn't find anything.

It's all just cosmetic differences from what I know. As long as it ties the two struts together I don't think it makes much of a difference. Unless the bar is made of a wet noodle or something.

that is correct... there is not a diffrence between any fstb out there besides looks. not sure why people pay $200 for stillen if the $50 does the same! so i say definetly go for the cheapest one you can find. but you should really invest in the rear sway bar because that one really makes the biggest diffrence in handling.

you can even get it cheap than 50$... I got mine off ebay for about 25$.... the drive is very different when I was lowered with agx/sprints... and an e-bay strut bar.. taking corners like a demon...

I plan on doing the RSB too but don't have enough money right now. Thanks for the help guys. Soon I'll be ordering my first mod.
