Problem with trunk.

Problem with trunk.
Hi guys. Well, it wasn't until recently that I noticed something wrong with my trunk. If you were to look at it from the back with the trunk closed, it appears as if the right side of the trunk lid (where there is the thin line separating the trunk lid from the rest of the car when shut)is a little higher, thus appearing as if it isn't closed completely, even though the trunk shuts. Well, I took it through a car wash yesterday, and decided to check to see if any water got in, and sure enough, it did. The trunk never did that. What could be a cause of that. I have a 10 inch sub in the trunk, so I was wondering if the pressure that is caused in the trunk would be enough to push the trunk lid out slightly. Last year, I also had taken some of that Peel and Seel that you get from Home Depot and applied it to the trunk lid bottom (where there are holes) to help prevent the trunk lid from rattling. I hope I didn't confuse anyone.
Any help would be appreciated.
btw - I have not had any damage to the back of my car that would have caused the trunk lid to be distorted in any way.
Thanks
Bryan

Thanks for the reply. I figured subs wouldn't be powerful enough, especially one ten, to do that. I figured something out today anyways. The foam rubber that is used to seal the trunk lid to the base, on the left side, was actually raised, hence causing the trunk lid to look higher on the left side then the right. I guess what happened is when I opened the trunk, the water from the carwash actually went into the trunk by going UNDER the raised foam rubber. The left side still looks wider then the right, but maybe it is the bumber deal.
Anyways, thanks
Anyways, thanks
