Exhaust question. Resonator, or No Resonator?

Man, I wont even begin to explain all the mufflers and exhausts ive went though. For starters, I have a Warpspeed Y pipe and A Custom B pipe without a resonotar. Now I have tried 2 Mufflers on it. The Ebay HKS style Muffler and the Magnaflow Muffler I have on it now. Its super loud, and MAD BEES IN THE CAN. Now I was wondering......If I have the shop put a resonater on the Custom B pipe they bent me, will it disable the Bees in the can sound? I know it will make it lower, but as long as the bees in the can is gone, its all good. And do most of you have a Res on your B pipe? And If I do get a res, what was the use of takin my stock B pipe off for? Because the Custom B pipe is 2.5 compared to stock.

Please someone reply with this issue. Im not sure if the sound is bees in the can, but its mostly annoying when I rev it, or like WOT. Its louder then the intake, it sounds like a Fart Muffler sound.

Thanx

get the resonator put on the bpipe...it will definitely help
it will make the sound deeper and somewhat get rid of the raspiness, depending on how the custom setup is.

whats the difference from stock? you answered your own question...its 2.5" in diameter compared to 2.25"

I had my GReddy SP system hacked up... kept adding resonators and mandrel piping...

Fit the longest 2.5" straight thru (perforated not louvered) resonator you can fit... The 22" Magnaflow right after the catalytic fits well... The rest of my system required alot of labor and time.

With all these resonators you guys are installing, you're getting absolutely no gains. You maky even be hurting power over stock.
