Sunroof not moving on a 1995 SE

Sunroof not moving on a 1995 SE

Any ideas on a broken sunroof. Motor sounds okay, but sunroof is not moving in any direction. Could it just be off the track?

Put some grease on the bars that the sunroof slides on. It reduces friction.
While you're at it, grease the door hinges too. Greesed up things slide better

Whoa! Thanks for that link! I've needed something like that for a long time!

There must be an inherent problem with the cables on the Max sunroofs coming loose! This'll help me out a lot!

I did this this weekend, followed the instructions, ran into a few problems, but the kit and the instructions came through. I am sending my $20 to the org.
