Is it okay to drive normally with a dead Knock Sensor?

Is it okay? I just pulled a knock sensor code from my ECU the other day. I have a knock sensor on order from courtesy but it isn't here yet. I want to know if I'm damaging my car in any way by driving slightly aggressively like I normally do.

note: I don't really notice a loss in power driving normally. I do notice it when going up a hill though. =(

Yes it is ok to drive with a bad knock sensor many people on the org do. Please realize however, that your car will lose a lot of low end power, and your MPG will suffer drastically. That's about it, won't cause anything else. To replace it check out motorvate.ca, follow the Engine Links to the knock sensor.
