Where can I get an automatic tranny gasket ?

Any recommendation? My dealership could not find one in the system for a '98 GLE. Does anyone have a Nissan part number?

Whoever you spoke with at the dealer is poor at communication.

==* Tranny Pan Gasket 31397-80X01
==* Tranny Plug 31377-31X06
==* (21) Tranny Pan Bolts 31377-80X09
==* Tranny "Screen" inside transmission (some think it is a filter, but it is not. Changing isn't necessary, but while you have the pan off, you might as well consider replacing) 31728-80X04

Those numbers are for 95 to 2k1 Maximas only.

For more information and links (and why you really need to buy new bolts when replacing the gasket), visit this link:

Here is what Team Nissan is giving me the parts for...are these good prices? I am using the part numbers that were listed above

Gasket -- $11.74
Tranny Plug -- $3.23
Tranny Bolts -- $.46 each
Tranny Screen -- $21.02 (Part number changed to 31728-80x03)

Take care,

Take care,

Off the top of my head those prices look fine. You don't really have to get a new tranny plug bolt, but I would probably get everything else. I guess that's about $45 total.

And thanks for the part supercede update.
