Haynes Manual

Does any one know where the link to the manual is, does it have a code manual in it that tells you what codes mean, i pulled the code 0509 off my freinds Maxima, It says undefined in the vbx maxima decoder, It misfires so bad, sounds like a machine gun, also it eats gass like its in a chuging contest, can any one help my friend?

0509 in the haynes manual is upstream O2 sensor high voltage spark (left bank) left bank O2 sensor would be the one closest to the front of the car. hope this helps any

I do not know of any places that have the manual online. It's $15 at Pep Boys. Money well spent.

Look for the Haynes shop manual, it's the best one out there for our cars.

You sure it wasn't 0905 (nine long and five short)? That would indicate a problem with the crankshaft position sensor, which would explain the problems you're seeing.
