Take it to the pro. They have a special technique and the right chemical solvent for the job. It's not worh saving the $50.

yup and wait for a sunny day too and leave your car out in the sun a few hours before the shop works on your car, it makes it easier to take off and alll the time you 'waste' will be nothing compared to the time it will take to redo your defroster lines

even if you take it to a shop, they wont always be able to do it without taking your defroster lines off

good luck!

I did it last week . I used heat gun (hair dryer should work also) to
heat the corner and pull the sheet slowly while heating more area the same time. Glue from the sheet still left behind. I used acetone(nailpolish remover is ok) to remove glue . The rear defrost wire is
still intact . It taked a few hours to do it.

A tint man told me this. Do this at your own risk. Take a trash bag and cut it to fit the window. spray the inside of the window down with 409 and put the trash bag so it sticks to it. LEave it in the sun. Try to take off the paper. If the tint's too old it won't work. Good luck.
