Copper spark plug gap

Anyone know what the gap must be for the copper NGK BKR5E-11 plug? I think the plats are .44in, but I don't know the copper specs. Also, what is anti-sieze grease? Is that what it is called, because I have never seen it before.

These plugs are supposed to come pre-gapped, but I don't know if the box has been dropped, or if it was banged around during shipping.

Why Copper?

Is there any advantage besides price that people use platinums?

Copper is a better electrical conductor than platnum. Platnums last 60k, coppers last 30k and cost 1/10 as much, 19$$ for plats 1.50 for coppers. You have to change them at 30k vs. 60 with plats and changing them isn't too hard.

I changed mine from Bosch plats yesterday to NGK coppers. The engine totally likes the NGK better. The engine was choppy before, I didn't notice it cause they were in there when I bought my car. I put the NGK's in and it runs so sooooooth now. Just make sure to gap them, cause mine were off a little bit.

This thread has come full circle.

anti-seize

anti-seize compound is a silver paste that u put on the threads to prevent the plugs from sticking when u change them. if u dont put this on, you can have problems removing your plugs later.
