Looking into maybe getting a test pipe... but don't know how loud it is... general pros and cons...

nor do i know a good cheap cat to replace it with...
so i'm looking into getting a simple Budget Test Pipe.

Anyone can return the search results please?

Use your regular cat to replace it with. Or us the RT cat from custommaxima.
If your worried about loud ask to get a resonator on the test pipe.

 

I found the test pipe to make hardly any difference at all on noise. The type of muffler has the single biggest effect.

 

My test pipe sounds like tin tin tin tintintintin tin tin bang badadbang bang.

If you ask me stock cat is as free flow as any other.

the test pipe has no price on the website just yet...

the rt cat says like 180 on custommaxima. I just emailed budget to find out their price for the test pipe.

 

Test pipe made no difference in sound or smell on my car.
