Payoff on my MAX

My car was wrecked and totaled and the appraiser for the insurance company had my car down as a 5speed manual but its an auto. How much of a price difference am i looking at. The initial offer was $4400 because the car had been wrecked before (but didn't come up on carfax)they ran some other type of report and found that.

Most insurers go by NADA book value. Their books are slightly more regional than a general NADA book you may find at a Barnes and Nobles. The nwere the car the greater the price diff between a 5 speed and auto (maybe $500). The older, the less importance and value as with all options.
