Hey, I saw a Maxima with Altezza (Euro) tailights at a Low Rider show today in Miami. He said he bought the Lexus IS300 tailights and had them custom fitted on the back of his car. Does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to have the tail's modified? And has anyone heard of APC making the Altezza's for a Max thus far? Thanks in advance for the responses.

P.S- Anybody else attend the Low Rider 25th Anniversary show at the Dade County Fair Grounds today?

Forget the modification, could you imagine what stock tail lights for a new car from Lexus would cost? I'd imagine $300 a piece, possible higher? I'd imagine that there would have to be some body work done to the car too. How much is a repaint? For the money I'd keep the stockers and add a Supercharger. The people behind you would at least know your a max and not a Lexus.

I've seen a lot of different cars down here with the IS300 tail light conversion. I've seen cars from 200sx's with them on to a Prelude with them on. The Prelude even had the two little brake lights from the IS300 in the middle part of the trunk. Actually, I think it had the whole Altezza convertion in the front and the back...Imma go look for the pic now and I'll post it.

I actually called around before and the cheapest I found was around $450 for all 4 pieces. The body work and paint will cost run you aleast $800-$1000. I haven't seen a perfect taillights conversion on the East Coast. Bodymen out in west coast are more skillful.

i called APC last week and they told me they have no plans on making them for any maxima. trying to find post with reply that states that they are making the tooling by the end of dec.2000 and sending it back to see what they say. i hope some other company makes them so apc won't make a dime off us.

Body shops

Lights were selling for about 300 on groupbuycenter.com the last time i checked. I live here on the WestCoast and I seen some Crazy stuff.I seen that PiNk Accord that mardi is talking about. its nice looking with Is front and back. The shop that did the conversion is JT AUTOBODY in Rosemead CA. Thats about 45 min. from my house. Any body pros does a lot of Great body work. There are located in Garden grove CA. Off Nutwood and GarDen grove. Thats 20 min. from my house. There are way to much competition and your best bet that you would be able to find some really good deals on body work here. If your going for show, then i recommend that you would pay more to make it look nice.

Tony: There is a blue accord out here in huntington ny (last gen before the current one... 97-98??) With a PERFECT altezza tail light conversion. The car has the outer lights and the two smaller lights on the trunk... looks incredible.
