upside down springs
upside down springs
I remember reading a thread about this but it's too hard to find with 50 pages to manually look through. Should the closer coils be at the top or bottom. I took out my eibach springs and installed b&g's to see if the ride would be better. I couldn't remember which way they were supposed to go. I was hoping for a lower drop than the eibachs but after I installed the springs the gap in the front was higher than before. Aren't b&gs supposed to be lower than eibachs?

The writing on the front springs should be upright.
In the rear, the closer spaced coils should be up, the last coil down on the rear spring is slightly smaller in diameter to fit snugly onto the shock perch. The writing should also be upright.
