tranny cooler
i dont think there is a "best" one, get the biggest you can afford ( paid a relatively cheap $50), i had one for my previous car (probe GT) which was pretty huge, about a foot high. Needed that size since i was spraying and used an IAT mod (makes the tranny shift harder), lots of heat for the tranny, i guess thats similar to the VB for the maxs??

I think tranny cooling would be helpfull for those who live in a hot enviroment, like CA or FL. for those who are in NY, is it really worth it? with the cold weather in winter time. could the tranny get dammaged if it is really cold in winter time. becuause it would take long time for it to worm up????
I just installed a B&M 0255 this weekend. The stacked aluminum design is much more rugged and will resist damage from road debris better than the Hayden fin design. The B&M Supercoolers have a bypass for cooler weather as stated earlier. I've installed both, but like the way I could run the ATF lines straight downward on both sides of the center support with the B&M Supercooler. I ran them under the edge the center support with some 3/4" heater hose around them to protect them from wear. I put the under covers back in place exactly as they were. The Hayden is typically mounted horizontal so that both ATF lines are on one side so the hoses are routed differently. No big deal though, they both work. Took about a 1.5 hours to complete.

Is the VB mod from maryland going do the same thing as the one from Max Tuning in NYC? I know that sounds like a stupid question but I heard that Aamaco does a VB modification but only extends the life of the tranny rather than give quicker shifting speeds.

You five speed guys don't have to worry about that as you create the shift when you want it to happen
