On the way to work I sometime encounter a late 80s/ early 90s vette convertible. He has exhaust work so he's easy to spot (hear). It was rainy and I finally had a chance to line up next to him at the red light. I could tell he was nervous with my WInnie the Pooh window tints staring him down. Light turned red and I spun the clutch for fear of wheelspin and he bit in. My 1st to 2nd shift was pretty good with moderate wheelspin (raining and about 32 degrees so I didn't hit it too hard). We ran to about 80 and were dead even! If it were dry I'm confident I would have 1/2 to 1 full car on him. It was a 35 mph zone which goes off into a 2 way hwy w/ 55 mph zone. PS he had an auto. Its gonna be a good day!

Hey was toyin' with his food

"And tonight's entree will be Max cooked well done.)"
Had he been wanting to, he'd have ripped you apart, and used your connecting rods to pick his teeth with....

MAybe he was hesitant due to the weather conditions. A guy at work had an 88 Vette with Y pipe, headers and intake and he runs 1/4 at 96 mph in upper 14s. Says he really dies at higher speeds (he has a 5 speed). Man I was pumped that I kept up and you guys had to rain on my parade...

rain is rain,

But a kill is a kill. And dead even with a vette always makes ya feel good.
