A bit of advice...When removing the strut from the vehicle DO NOT hit your cv boot! Put a cloth over the boot so you won,t pull a dch95 and have to replace it again! That my friend "bites wind".

I replaced my 96 SE with H&R two weeks ago. It took me about 5 hours with some lousy spring compressors I borrowed. The Service Manual pages provided by Jeff K is certainly going to be very helpful for you. However, I would advise one thing against what the manual says. For the front strut, you DO want to loosen the "strut rod nut" BEFORE you remove the strut assembly from the car. But DO NOT remove it. I did not have a service manual but I forgot to loosen the nut. I ended putting the whole assembly back to the car so I can loosen the nut.
