It seems that my blower keeps shutting off sometimes. Does any one know where this is located at and how hard is it to change out ????? The dealer wants $325 just for the blower itself. I called Courtesy and it is $215 a little better but a couple of hundred dollars for a blower ???? Hope it is a loose wire !!!!! Thanks for any info.

My AC blower motor went south at only 32k, and the dealer replaced it under warranty. Turned out the mechanism was turning itself to shreds (dunno how).

The dealer made the mistake of giving me the dealers billing invoice to sign instead of the customer copy, and for a minute I saw the prices the dealer gets paid by Nissan for the job. The blower motor itself is $150 (for the dealer).

Move the passenger seat all the way back. Tip the seat back all the way
back. Lie on your back, on the seat, with your head on the floor, under
the dashboard. This is an uncomfortable working position but you have to
endure it for only a few minutes. This is not a job for a person who has a
bad back.

The blower motor sits just above the passenger's feet. No covers to
remove; it is in plain view. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove
three mounting screws. Don't let it fall on your face!

Use a cloth or a vacuum cleaner to remove any debris you can reach through
the hole which is now exposed.

With the blower motor out of the car you can bench test it. Use a pair of
fused test leads to supply 12 volts directly from the battery. If the
blower motor shrieks, it probably has dry bearings. Being a thrifty sort,
I would always try to rehabilitate the old motor rather than install a
replacement. Blower motors typically don't have ball bearings; the
armature shaft spins in sintered bronze bearings. You may be able to
lubricate them and give that blower motor a new lease on life. Use
a light lubricant such as 3-in-1 electric motor oil.

AC parts.....

Gents I highly recommend if you need ANY AC parts, contact TJ at Infiniti of Scottsdale (AZ) they are $hit hot, he knows his stuff and their prices CANNOT be beat. You can find them on the net (infinitofscottsdale.com).
I just replaced my entire AC system, and the price (at least the parts was right.
