Engine coolant temp sensor...where?

I read somewhere that said it was left of the throttle body a few inches below with a red plug...I see nothing. I'm getting a code for this sensor so can it be cleaned or does it need to be replaced? Any pics would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks.

Look at the upper radiator hose follow it until it runs into the engine right where it does there are 2 connections the second one is the ECT sensor(the one furthest away from the front of the car.
