i am wondering what bulb size the security light is, and how to remove it to install a blue led light? anything i should be aware of?

5mm LED... I believe you can use a 5V blue LED from Radio Shack, just be sure to use the stock resistor so you don't burn out the bulb. Piece of cake.

Just (carefully) pry the security light out of the dash with a small flathead screwdriver, and pry open the casing. It's very obvious what needs to be done to replace the bulb (the bulb is just attached to a little holder by its wires). Be sure that you have the polarity correct or the bulb won't work.
