Adjusting Koni rear struts

The ones I have, you have to compress the strut all the way...ALL THE WAY. Then turn left or right to firm up or soften. I forget if " + " is for firm or for soft. The symbols are stamped into the strut housing, a " + " and " - " I believe the " + " is to firm it up. Look at the pictures. I recall one of them showing which is which.

The crappy thing about the rear setup...is that if you want to adjust again, you have to take the struts off the car to re-adjust

Hope that helps.

Turned the strut upside down, and push down to push the rod into the strut. You have to push it all the way down, then maintaining the downward pressure to keep the struts compressed, turn the strut housing.

The instructions mentioned something about hearing clicks for each 360 degree turn, but I didn't hear any. Supposedly each click represent 1 complete turn.

I just kept track of the number of turns. The number of turns will depend on how stiff/soft you want your ride to be.
