About candy apple red paint for 95-96 tails

I was thinking of painting my stock tails 3/4 red and heard that candy apple red would be a good choice of red. I looked and found candy apple red paint and it says that it matches perfectly ford original colour so is this paint for the car's body only or it's the same for the lights? And would this red match the stock red part?

i found it at acadamy, it was called "Testor's translucent candy apple red". i will not match the red on the stock tails. look at my homepage for pics of red out tails.

if you get the all clear tailights, that testor paint should match toe stock color with enough coats sparyed.
