KYB's are the best for performance ride. Springs that drop 2" are dropzone, maxspeed, sprint, I cannot think of the others at this time.
anyway dropping 2" will give you a harder ride no matter what. In my opinion the best combo for a lowered max and pretty good ride quality would be the tokico illuminas and progress springs which drop 1.5" in rear and 1.7" in front.

If I went GC Coilovers with Koni or AGX Shocks, can I get a 2" drop? Anyone have one of these combo's and can tell me how it rides? Thanks. I'm planning on getting 2k2 SE rims, so they'll be couple with 17" rims. Thanks.

yeah you can actually go lower than 2" with GC's
the spring rate is very high, so the ride is harsh, plus they make noises at times on bumps.

but thats not a bad setup...only thing is its expensive.

Tokico Performance or Blues are OEM replacements, and do not accpet aftermarket springs happily.

Tokico Illuminas are new this year and are fully adjustable performance struts/shocks. I haven't heard if they are more repliable that the Blues.

AGX are fully adjustable, performance struts/shocks. They are very reliable.
