Maxima's overlooked

When I went riding in the strip tonite, it was funny how people see my maxima and kind of brush me off. saying," a maxima? i'm not wasting my gas on a family car" WTF... I showed a couple of them what was up. Especially when they check out my stock muffler and pea shooter tip, they almost laugh that I wanna race there, gs-r's, tubo eclipses, and the funniest stangs. They think I am stock with just an intake because I have a stock muffler... I have a almost full exhaust system except the muffler. This ****es me off people don;t wanna waste their time on me b/c I don't have a shiny as2 can and tip.

Wouldn't it be funny if you had a big aluminum box (resembling a huge shoe box) made with a ridiculously large "exhaust tip" on it that you could temporarily put over your stock muffler. Then show them your "exhaust". Make sure you can back it up, though.

oh there slowly getting respect. Not all people have their heads up there ***. My friends give the maxima respect now. Their reason now for whoopin there 4 bangers is because the maxima is v6. But they now show respect for nissan. My friend who has a 95 gsr w/ intake was very disappointed in me beating him at the track. I took one passenger with me to make the race more even and i still walked him by half a car. He was really ****ed off at that one. havent heard from him since must be still that maximas dont look really fast but can haul *** if they want to.

This is exactly why it's so fun to go to the track and turn heads.

I was in the all motor 4 and 6 cylinder FWD class at the last Battle of the Imports. There were only 6 of us, 3 92-95 civic Hatches, 2 CRXs, and me. I came in 4th with a best of 14.12, I got hammered by a civic hatch that ran 13.1 in the first round. The other 2 hatches ran 13.4 and 13.8, while the CRXs ran 14.6 and 15.slow.

you might have lost to s civic, but can those civics seat 5 people confortably while still hauling a whole buncha stuff in the trunk? can you take you grandmother to the hospital in a suped up civic?, no you can't, and if they say they can, dont believe them.

next time you go to a track, take all the seats out, it could get you a few 0.1 seconds..
