Me Vs. my MOM?

My mom bought a new Accord today...
you think i would have a CHANCE in hell to win?
see the car here...
http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...=322526&page=4
i gotta little picture happy, LOL

IMHO, the 2-drs are SO much nicer than the 4, the taillights vary on the number on the number of doors...the 4 doors tailights are UGGGGLEEE
my parents TRIED so hard to get a 6-spd, but they couldn't get one unless the ordered a new car from the factory, and with all the $hit this car has on it, they could never have gotten a 6 spd for the 27k that they paid for this one...anyway...think i gotta shot? my dad wants to race!

27k FOR AN ACCORD?!?!?

Wow, that car looks pretty nice.. They are pretty quick from what I've heard so it might give you a run for your money.

If you're a decent drive you should be able to keep up with it. If you're an excellent driver you should be able to take it.

my parents did not like the 2k4 max's, they found them ugly, and the 2k3's did not impress them unless it was a fully loaded Se 6 spd....my mom drove a max and the accord, and picked the accord, however, she said if she found a car like mine, (loaded 97 se 5 spd) with 0 miles, she would buy that over the accord

The new Accord coupe looks pretty nice I got to admit. Appearance wise, the new Accord is definitely better looking than the '04 Maxima. Is that the factory aero kit on the Accord? Or do all coupes come like that? I like it, very nice. Would be much nicer with a 6spd tranny though.

Are you manual or auto? I can swear that C&D clocked the auto 240hp accord at mid 7's for 0-60. It may be a bit faster for the coupe (since it's lighter), but still...and she's fully loaded too? Options mean heavy. Hope this helps.

0-70/80 its will be close. You may win off the line but the Honda's hp at higher speeds will help them kick your butt on the hwy. The new accord engine has 240 hp but torque is about the same as your Max but occurring at higher rpms. Basically Honda's have no ***** down low-never have and may never fix that problem. Hard to compare a 2 door coupe to a 4 door sedan. A better comparison would be the G35 coupe which would kick the Accords *** up and down the hwy.

Sh*t for that ridiculous price why not just buy a TL. Friend of mine just bought one for $27,000+TTL. Lot more options than Accord, classier and higher resale.

Dude, they were lookin at a 3.2TL-type S and with all the **** they wanted on it...it came to 34K! they wanted everything but the navigation system, including factory body kit...
and yes, this body kit on the accord is an aoption, and a pricey one too, and i am also manual....
