Is This a good 4th Gen

I'm considering buying a 4th gen max. I'll give u the some info. Wants 12k car has 49k mi a supercharger, suspension kit, it's an SE, with Leather and a Sun roof. Oh and he has a system. I think this is worth it and a good car. What do u guys think. The car had an engine swap and a new tranny. The motor has 49k mi and the car has 97k. Oh and it's got a body kit. Help me out and tell me what u guys think?

That car has been beaten. Supercharger + New Engine (despite low miles) + New Suspension = Obvious. Personally I wouldn't buy it, but if you are willing to deal with possible problems then it is a pretty good deal. A loaded '97 SE 5spd runs about $8k. With all those mods I would try for $10k-$11k.

What year?

What other mods? (ACT, flywheel, ect)

Auto or 5spd?

What kinda supercharger, and how much boost is he running, and which pulley?

Does the SC have a CAI or stock intake?

Is he running colder plugs, stock internals?

Are their gauges?

What color is the car?

brianv definatly knows what hes doing, from what i can tell, he is smart and knows about his maxima's. but that doesnt take away from the fact that he may have beat on it a bit. i know he has a few races in his day, but he also respected his car and treated it well.

but with boost comes more problems, if you willing, go for it, his car is one of the most beautiful on the .org

where do you live that you can find fully loaded SE's for 8k? you must be talking about private party sales or crap dealers
