weird idle - looking for new car

Hey guys I need some quick help.. We'll lets skip the crap get to the deal...

Im car searching right now and today I went to see a 95 Maxima SE with 100K miles on it everything is perfect EXCEPT its weird IDLE... I was thinking sparkplugs or something like that.. It idles goes from like 1000 to 1100 up and down and everytime it goes up you feel the engine vibrating just a BIT... I was wondering what it would be...

The salesmen guy said they had washed it a while ago (days i guess) and maybe some water got in the sparkplug wells and its mis-firing.. I dont know.. Any opionons? Thanks!

you're really not supposed to spray water underneath the hood ... but it does sound like you need a throttle body cleaning http://freewebz.com/sinymaxse/maintenance.htm

before you go for a 95/96 model maxima, let me just tell you that those years had the worst crash ratings. they also have a funny looking trunk when compared to the 97+
