EiBach Springs

I would go for it because it gives the car a meaner-low slung look, not to mention that the wheel wells look better.
I would replace the shocks with Konis at the same time as the Eibachs to save money cause the stock shocks won't be able to handle it. If you want a similar to stock ride then ppl here say that H&R springs would be more suitable. The Eibachs are more stiffer than the stock SE springs.

Don't lower it enough.
I've got the Eibachs on mine and I wish they dropped it more. I'm am extremely pleased with everything else about them though. I've been kicking around the idea of going to the new Sprint springs (2" drop!)with Koni struts. I wanna get some feedback from people before I get them though.
It seems most of the complaints regarding harsh ride on this board stem from the Koni/Eibach installation. If you don't mind driving around town with a mouth guard --to keep your teeth from chattering together on bumpy roads-- give that combo a try! :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I have a Tokico/Suspension Techniques combination installed on my Max. They've been on there for about 4 years now, and I like them a lot. The car rides 1.4" lower, corners well, and nose dive is virtually nonexistant. I'd characterize my ride as firm, but not harsh. And as I approach the 4th year with these upgrades in place, I have no problems to report.
If you plan to upgrade your springs, don't do it without upgrading your struts at the same time! Stiff springs need better struts. Without better struts, you'll bounce-bounce-bounce all over the place. (You need to have a front-end alignment done, too.)
Once you've upgraded struts and springs, a rear sway bar, a front strut tower brace, and a rear strut tower brace will allow your Max to corner like a slot car. Have fun with it.
