Car is acting weird again, EGR valve to blame?

Well, I had this problem before but now its back, so I dont knwo what is causing this. here are my symptons:

1. Bad acceleration, not smooth when i push teh gas, sometimes it even "lags" when I drive, like it takes a second and then jumps into the next gear. Sluggish would be a good word for it.

2. At idling, the RPMs sort of "bounce", by this i mean you can feel the car jerk because the RPMs will just drop 100 or 200 RPMs, feels like car is choking and about to stall, but never stalls.

3. When I floor it, car acts like its using half its power to run.

4. Horrible gas mileage, I can drive under 2000 RPms, constantly and I iwll waste a lot of gas.

5. I once got a cel for my rear heated o2 sensor, but I resetted my ECU and never saw it again.

here is a pic of my intake manifold, there is some throttle body cleaner in there cause I decided to take a picture in teh middle of my TB cleaning:

I went to clean my Throttle Body and I saw a lot of stuff inside the manifold, I have no idea where the EGR valve is, so if you could help me and tell me how to clean it, I would appreciateit. Someone also gave the idea that it could be my fuel pump dying, I dunno, sorry for it being so long, hope you can help me, thanks!

i'm having some of the same types of problems, my 98 has 65k miles on it, how many miles do you got on yours? The EGR valve is about 3-4 inches below the throttle body. Read the throttle body thread for better explanation. Usually, above a certain RPM (4000?) the EGR valve will open up (meaning the valve goes up and then comes back down). There's some tubes that go into it. It's kind of hard to explain, at least hard for me to explain.

I have a 95 SE with 94k miles on it (around there). I think its teh EGR valve, cause everytime i clean the TB...i start the car and it feels like brand new..then it goes bad again =(

I had a 93 se and had the same problems... it was a fuel injector thats was stuck closed....causing it to loose alot of power.. acceleration was very choppy.. and gas miliage was very bad

Of all the things it could be, that was the worst I had thought about, and hoped it wasnt the problem, but the more I htink about it, the more it makes sense. Is there a way to "open" or unclog the fuel injectors ourselves?
