The only modded Max in magazines are in Super Street (one word?) that I saw... sorry it was only an advertisement though...

The Hard Truth

Maximas don't get love because turbo kits are difficult and expensive, and their are only a handful into the 13s N/A. Therefore the after market manufactures stay away and that's the key. Besides performance look around next time you are driving, notice how many Maximas you see then notice how many are not modded. As long as the sleeper look is the attitude among us, the auto enthusiast community will continue to snooze. I am not completely in love with my Max, yet but I'm going to rep it to the fullest. If you want a Maxima on Super 2NR TV you'd better do the same.

Well, I was just flipping through some of my old Super Street magazines, and in one of their articles (don't remember which issue) covering a show, there was the Fast & Furious Maxima in 2 of their shots, but Honda's were blocking the view. It was the same issue that they covered the S2000 from the movie.

yeah that was the one issue i read.....there was an article along with it that was hilarious. It was how real gear heads and grease monkeys were p1ssed off at the first movie, because of how much BS was in it ("NOS....i need two of these"), but then like 2 paragraphs later, the article was all like," and if any of these people call you a poser, or ricey, don't sweat it, just add a bigger wing" I was laughing my *** off.

If its anything other than a Hon-Duh, it wont get much coverage in magazines..... It seems like all of us Maxima owners are out of luck unless we start complaining to the magazines to do more coverage of the Maxima... If we complain enough, they might start doing coverage of the Max........
