start / ignition switch grounding issue?

Does anyone remember a thread months back about how to fix this issue?

I have a 95 maxima gle, and when you turn the key over it doesnt always start it takes a few tries for it to engage the starter.

It doesnt make any noises or anything, just does nothing at all. then after a couple tries it works, but ive noticed that its doing it allot more now, so this would be a good time to fix it.

It started out doing it like a couple times a week two years ago, but now its several times a day.

If no one remembers the link to that thread or site, do you remember what needs to be fixed? Is it the solonoid, or the ignition switch? Or a ground wire somewhere?

Any help would be great,
Dave

sounds like you need a new starter. im not aware of the grounding issue your talkin bout. starter itself is grounded to the block. try running a jumper to the starter signal and see if it clicks or cranks.
