ECU Code 0705 & 0903 Help

My "Service Engine Soon" light came on yesterday. With the help of vbxmaxima ECU decoder, two ECU codes were discovered.

0705 - EVAP Control System
0903 - EVAP Canister vent control valve

Anyone ever had this problem and does this need to be serviced asap? Don't know if it is related, but I had my refrigerant recharged last summer. Let me know if you guys have any advice/suggestions.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Nah, your a/c system is not related. I had these codes come up a couple of weeks ago, check this thread out, its pretty easy to do.

*FYI the EVAP vent valve and canister is located behind the driver side rear tire, its a big rectangular looking thing.*

Also, I didnt take the whole thing apart, I just sprayed some WD-40 into the valve and worked it to loosen it up and left it at that. Once done, I cleared the code and it never came back.

I tried the cleaning thing and it only lasted a week.

Guess it is one of those YMMV kind of things.
