o2 sensor help debate....

Ok here is the deal: I am getting a 9 - 1 cel accompanied buy a knock senor cel(which i was told was a faulty code by a nissan mechanic), i am wondering on what to do, just buy the sensor and replace it myself for like 68 bux, or take it to the dealer and have the rape me for 165 bux, and not go throught the hassle of ordering it and worse case not knowing how to installit, or even worse that is not the problem and i still get those codes and i just blew the $$, keep in mind i am 17 and money is not growing on trees for me
