Yeah i would go with that. Or the Injen CAI since it was so expensive, and would be kinda a waste not to use it.

The only problem is that when I installed the injen my call stalled out a couple times, but when I put the stillen back on it was fine. I dont know what is going on with that.

make sure all the hoses are plugged in correctly, if everything fails try resetting the ecu.. if that dont work sell the injen and get the y pipe with the franken.

i sold my frankencar/jwt for a used injen. haven't received it yet, so i'm not sure if its gonna be better performance wise, but that's not really too important to me anyway. try installing the injen again and see if it fits your taste. the frankencar/jwt is a good setup, i just got sick of hearing the same thing. my .02

Frankencar intake, save some money and sell both the stillen intake and the injen, you'll get the most out of the whole frankencar setup....the stillen is a k and n filter anyway and would not show u any other gains over the one frankencar gave you

Install the Injen CAI, you won't regret it.

Just buy the Bombz intake on ebay w/the k&n filter. It's a true CAI where the filter is placed in the fender. This ofcouse assumes that you are willing to cut a hole in the fender?? That costs like $100 shipped.

Peace.

Like what someone said before, keep the frankencar pipe and put the stillen at the end of it. Sell the Injen. Selling the stillen and injen would be also, because the frankencar is a good intake.

I have a RVM midpipe and a apex'i setup. The apex'i is supposedly the best flowing and the best filtering. I don't know about the flowing part, but I do like the fact that it filters very well. When I sold my stillen a while back and bought my current setup, I did feel I gained some lowend and mid. The midpipe and new filter also changed the sound. With just the stillen, its a crazy, undefined raspy sound. With the setup I have now, it's louder, more defined, less raspy and has a deeper tone. It's very hard to describe the sound, I think you should try it out yourself.

just get one and enjoy it...don't put too much thought into it. As for the Bomz, or Place Racing...if you do change your mind in the future you are going to have a hole in your fender wall. I have the Frankencar intake and am very happy. If I need to I can put it back to OEM equiptment in 15 min.
