Headlight wires? Help please!

Headlight wires? Help please!
Can you guys tell me what color is the HighBeam wire on both the right and the left headlight wires? I installed a new set of HIDs but I connected the two H and L beam wires to the power wire that goes to the ballast, and my High beam indicator stays on. I am guessing that If I disconnect the HighBeam wire it will just turn off. But I can't find the origonal sockets now so I don't remember which one is which.
