Here is my problem: I have a 1995 with steel rims. Bought a set of stock 16" SC wheels from a recycling yard but they did not want to sell me the wheel nuts. Now I went to the dealership and they sold me 20 chrome ACORN nuts for the price of $108.00 I brought the nuts to my local speed shop to install the tires/rims but the refuse to instal them because they say that the nuts should have a washer and if they install the wheels with the acorn nuts, I will loose my wheels. Can someone tell me a description of the nuts that should be used? There seems to have been installed previously with washers.

Am I stuck with having to buy the wheel nuts from the dealership?
