Tokico Blues and Sprints

Is this a good combo? I've heard great things about the blues and then I've also heard that the rears can't handle the drop Sprints give. I'd love to hear as much feedback as possible. Especially bout the ride. I know Sprints can be brutal but how bad will it really be?

ok from the forums, i have read that the tokico blue's don't have stiff enough dampening for a drop like that. you might find the car to be a little bouncy.

however, from having low expectations of tokico blues...i took a ride in my friends max with tokico blues and eibachs, and the ride was absolutely great. handling was greatly improved, nice drop, and i was impressed with the ride quality after hearing the negative comments of tokico blues, and the supposed stiffness of eibachs.

yeah seriously...
there's also someone with sprints and stock struts/shocks which haven't blown. don't make a generalization out of one particular situation.

H&R's have a lower spring rate than sprints, and im not really down with cutting springs. if you want springs with a 2" drop, i say get springs that come with a 2" drop.

in all honesty, the blues probably won't blow for a long time (years) but they won't dampen the ride that sprints offer. remember tokico blues are stock replacements.

Hmm..Well I'm on Maxspeeds right now but I wanna go with Sprints. Hate to have to spend anymore money than absolutely necessary. Would the ride quality be considerably worse than maxspeeds? Maybe in a quantitative fashion..like 10% worse than maxspeeds, etc?

sprints should be quite a bit harsher than maxspeeds, just because of the lower drop and higher spring rate. doesn't really matter which struts/shocks you use, it will be a bit harsher.

Tokicos for over 2 years here. Still going strong. I have been pleasently surprised afer hearing all the bad feedback they have gotten. I have Eibachs, but if I had sprints I would probably consider AGX or Illuminas.
