indigo gauges

well. problem here... all went well in installing my indigo reverse gauges in my 95 max. except for the reason we have gauges in the first place....to see how fast we're going and how much fuel we have.. they light up, but nothing registers - apparently i installed them wrong. any tips?

you either didn't connect the harnesses in the back correctly, or at all, or the needles are sticking bigtime. mine stick a lot but i'm sick of trying to fix them. so check the connections first that all are right, and then see if the gauges are laying flat or if they are touching the needles. goodluck

Re: indigo gauges

i had the same problem when installing my guages, i attached them with double sided tape and removed one of the screws that were on the original black face of the tach and speedometer, they were the screws on the right of the needle. i have no problems now, except for puttin tape over the warning light on the fuel gauge, i put tape over the light by mistake, and it doesnt light up well now,be careful not to do that. good luck

You should have used a touch of super glue to hold the gauges down... around the corners... thats what I did with my old gauges...

I used glue too. The needles seem to stick when at start up (when it's cold) but after it warms up they do alright

I used double sided sticky tape and when my needles stuck all i did was put very small amount of superglue around the needle making sure that none got on the needle itself when replying it... never has a problem since... the only problem i have is my temp gauge doesnt light up much but i dont worry about that much
