Heater Motor Replacement

I previously posted a message
about my heater troubles and
it seems it is the motor.
If I tap what I believe to be
the round plastic covering of the
motor, it starts. How difficult
is it to replace? Does the glove
compartment need to be removed?
Thanks

Yep, remove the glovebox, and also there is one nut at the bottom right corner of the instrument panel that should be removed too (after popping off the kick panel). If you then pry out the bottom of the dash a bit, the motor can be removed easily (3 screws hold it in, and there is also a plastic hose and the electrical connector that need to be removed. Quite an easy job....
