What kind of liquid is best for...
My car temperature is running too hot when i drive pass 30 mph. So when i got home i checked my engine and one of the liquid compartment was empty. The lid of this liquid input read, "Refrigerant Collant." What the heck do i put inside? waht is the best kind? is there a best kind? another problem with my car is that the a/c does not work! it just blows regular neutral air! Can some maxima experts help me out, i dont work with cars much...
If you have an owners manual, read it. If not, read this. When your car is COLD (after sitting turned off for a night) open the radiator cap and buy some anti-freeze and mix a gallon of that with a gallon jug of water (50% coolant, 50% water). Pour it in the radiator til full. Start the car, run the car around the block til its warm, come back, and turn it off. Let it cool down for a while and check the level in the reservoir (clear plastic If it doesn't fill up to the max line, repeat the 50/50 mixing and fill up the that empty "refrigerant liquid" reservoir to to the Max line.
CAR MUST BE COLD TO OPEN RADIATOR COOLENT CAP ON METAL RADIATOR (not the plastic jug).

oh yeah
Any brand coolant will be fine. As far as the AC goes...umm...do this:
Turn on the car and wait until the idle reaches normal speed (about 600-700rpms). You can do this while your driving around the block after you added coolent. Now stop the car and put it in neutral. Look at the idle speed, turn on the A/C and put the blower to max (4). If the idle of the car goes UP, youre compressor is kicking in. If not, you may have a bad compressor or cluth (on the a/c unit).
