Sh*t..do I Need A New...

Sh*t.. Do I need a new alternator?? Heres the deal. I know my belts are cracked and must replace soon. they been cracked for a while (making that noticable waa noise while spinning). Today while my car was in park. i noticed that when I press the brake, the headlights dim slightly (very slightly), and if i turn my air vent to number 4 and hold the window up button, you can hear the belt slow down very slgightly. Will just replacing these belts fix my problme... any help appreciated.

werd. Hmmm, this could all be a weak battery...
at idle, the alternator doesn't charge..only @ 1000 rpm and up
the thing i will tell you too, is that when i had my shot alternator yesterday, it was making that whining noise, and my belts were immaculate...i would try the multimeter test.

For the multimeter test, refer to my post on this thread|
