I have a 95 GLE, and I know I can get a JWT ECU for my car. I had a couple of questions:

1. What exactly does it do?
2. What kind of performance gains am I looking at?
3. How much does it cost?
4. What's the best place to get one?

The JWT ecu advances the timing on the ECU and adjusts the fuel curves. It leans out the mixture to create more power. It also raises the rev limiter to 7000 rpm. You can ask them to raise it as high as 7200 rpm though. The cost is about 560 dollars. There is about a 5 week wait on the ecus. You can order from a number of places. www.cattman.com, www.eatricezone.com, or directly from JWT. I don't remember seeing any dyno numbers with just the ECU. But I'm guessing you'd see 10-15hp. People have reported that most of the gain is in the mid range.
