loosen lens............

to take it out of the socket about 5-10 mins also this was in the summer time and about 80 degrees outside,to take the actual lens apart it took heating about a 6 inch section at a time about 5 mins and then check for when to pull it apart by how soft the adhesive gets....then pull on it slowly and it will come if not heat some more so and so forth

Would an iron work for this? You could use a cloth or something between the iron and the lens to that you didn't melt it. I was just thinking because I have doubts about a hair dryer and I dont think i have a heat gun.

Can that be done to the front corners as well? Or just the tail?

I wouldn't

I wouldn't use an iron... I used a heat gun and it took a while to get the lens apart. An iron would most likely melt the rubber seal or the plastic. Just be patient and take your time... its definately worth it. As for the front, you can buy clear lenses from courtesy or on ebay for about $35.00

u guyz r lucky

Man you 97-99 guyz r lukky. I had to buy clears and paint em in my 95 taliz so that they look kewl like your guyzez. And it took a helluva lot more than a heat gun.
