How soon should I change out these dust boots? (pic)

How soon should I change these things? My car has 32k miles on it...

That's how my boots looked at around the same mileage. You don't "have" to change anything as the dust boots only prolong the life of the strut. However, to maximize the life of your strut you should change them since they are torn. It really all depends on if you're considering getting aftermarket suspension at some point.

Good point, I didn't even notice that. I saw the black spring and thought it was stock.
