OK, I just put on my JWT pop charger thing and have the battery unplugged like many people suggested.. I'm going to leave it that way to reset the computer till morning (9 hours) -

Now my question is, there is a little sensor that used to sit in the air box, and just snapped in like MAF thing. I removed it obvisouly, along with the box, but will this screw up the computer when I plug it back in, in the morning? Should I plug this little sensor back in by itself and let it hang down in there or something? Thanks!

Advice

Well, you can reset your ECU by turning the screw on the side of it back and forth twice, its a lot faster that way. As for the sensor make sure it is plugged in and fix it somewhere around the filter so it can read the temp of the air coming in. I wedged mine into the filter and the bump for the wheel well holds it there.

i just got the filter and 2 screws mind u that the screw were the pointy ones and i just screwed in the sensor takes two mins and its better then having to let it hang there.

I did this intstall like 2 days ago and it works fine .

Use a cable tie and fasten it near the intake

or do what Stillen does and drill a hole on the top of the intake and secure it there.

Plug the the sensor back before you start the engine. I left it hanging at first, ran the car no problem. Then I decided to remove the sensor and keep it with the airbox, BIG MISTAKE, check engine light came on. Have to put the sensor back and reset the computer.

I used a cable tie and attached it the MAF

but, now I think that that makes it rattle noise when it hits 5500rpm Its either that or the intake, something is annoying in there, so I am going to take it back out and probably tape it down or something... hope that fixes the rattly noise. I love the growl, hate the rattle.
