it is a disadvantage to me racing though, im 250 lbs, 100 lbs more than some of you guys

red/clears tails arent expensive($20) just labor intensive...thats why i have had them for 6 months sitting in my room...

Looks nice. Just like it did in person. You were right about all the snow you guys got up in Duluth. But it hit 60 today here, so that snow shouldnt be around too much longer.

I'm just shy of 6'-1" I usually only bench with dumbells, but the last time I maxed out with a barbell was 6 months ago at 270 lbs. I'm positive I'm over 300 now. I dont know what gets more looks, the maxima, or putting up a couple 100 lb dumbells 8 times

What gets more looks is when you pull up the 100s and you are 5'5" 155. I had an OFF day yesterday and dropped back to the 100s for 3 sets of 10. I was up to the 105s for 3 sets of 8.

That will get you some looks.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but what really gets looks is 120lbs dumbells for 10 with a super set of shoulder press at 100lbs for 8 as well. I'm a college football player so don't feel too bad about yourselves.

Yeah, but what do you weigh?

No matter what you weigh that is an impressive feat. Where do you play? I wrestled in college (95-99) and have a high respect for all college athletes b/c I know the dedication that it takes to be competetive at that level.

What really gets looks from the ladies is a 6' 1" 180lb WHITE guy with a 32"+ vertical hitting a volleyball straight down on a spike or the same guy cranking a softball 300' plus

I weightlift, but it's purely for fitness and overall health. I'm by no means a powerlifter plus it would end up killing my quickness and leaping abilities.

BTW, nice 4th gen

You got it all wrong Dave. What REALLY gets looks from the ladies is a 5'9, 140lb. WHITE boy cruising down "winter park village" in a black Maxima SS With the 5.7L...I mean 3.0VQSC.

I would say what I bench, but decline for fear of embarrassement.

I had the same problem @ my old gym, which is why I had to go to a new one. I am pressing 315 now (or I was when I weighed 152.5). By the time I hit 157-158 I hope to be hitting 325.

I try to get DC local guys to go to the gym w/ me but noone takes me up on it.

Pound for pound I already have you topped.

I bench 205% of my body weight. You bench around 175%.

Still, it is impressive any time anyone can bench over 150% of their body weight, or 315. If you move 6 plates you are doing well.
