how much of a difference would a y pipe make if i just have a CAI? Im tired of getting beat by my friends 'cord. please help.

 

You'll notice a difference. I forget how many hps you'll get. But you'll notice it. I noticed the difference after I got my Y put on.

 

You can't let a cheesy accord beat you,a maxima should be able smoke one.You deffinately will notice the addition of the Y pipe.

 

Your friend better have a new accord v6.. Cuz the maxima will smoke every other accord. You will notice the power difference with just Y-Pipe and Intake. Breathe in breathe out.. =) The fun part is that you don't have to tell him you have a Y-pipe.. He will never see it.. Hehe.. Just smoke him.. =)

a 5spd should be able to beat the new accords? theyre auto..

 

what kind of accord? i don't even have cai...just pop and i haven't had an accord beat me yet...

 

the only reason why is because he installed a prelude motor before the motor i could beat him with out a problem.

 

go with a cattman y-pipe and don't tell him about it, great idea! That is probably the biggest single HP gain that I could feel the difference on.

 

Hmm.. if he put a H22 into a older accord.. and he is 5-speed.. I dono.. I think he would be tough to beat. 190 or 195hp.. The older accords probably weigh like 3000lbs.. I hope you have a 5-speed..

okay right now im doing 16.1 with just the CAI...with the addition of a y-pipe, do you think its possible to do 15.5 or better? my friend is doing 15.5 wit h the h22a, CAI, full exhaust, headers and an apexi vtec controller... any ideas?

 

Get the stainless steal cattman y pipe. And if that doesn't work, and you really want to beat him, get either nitro or the supercharger.
