Just Installed LEDs on the brake light. but...

I just bought some 1157 LEDs from pepboys and installed them on brake lights, but for some reason, they don't work. So i put my stock bulb back on and it works. I installed another LED, just in case the first one could be damaged or something, but the other LED also didn't work. what could be wrong??

Well, first thing is to take them back to PepBoys and see if you can switch them out for another set. And install them at the PepBoys to see if they work. Or, you can try and see if they work in your front corner lamps....

I did the *EXACT* same thing. The LED bulbs will not work with the turn signals unless you get some different type of flasher. (the LED don't draw enough current to close the relay)

As for the brake and running lights, they should work., *BUT* in the rear tail lights the light bulbs are angled 30-45 degrees and as a result of this, they are not very bright. They are dimmer in the daytime than the stock bulbs.

I like people to see me, so they are sitting in my desk drawer.

You need a load equalizer for each 1157 or 1156 bulb that you put in. You can find them on eBay.
